Eco-Coco Jewellery and Components
Friday, April 2nd, 2010Just received some new jewellery from Mexico and here is their story..
Once upon a time... a small mexican community decided to address its growing poverty by creating employment based on their resources; coconuts.
The people decided to make decorative and practical objects from the nut of the coco that they could offer to people who would be interested in high quality and unique gifts that were made in ecological and fair trade conditions. Be part of the story! Indeed, when it is known that... the products are handmade from the smooth yet firm coconut shell...the salaries and working conditions respect the dignity of workers and allows them to meet the basic needs of their families... natural production techniques are practiced...coconut trees are planted throught the "Adopt a coconut, my coco!" program...a community fund is created to meet the social needs of the population...the Eco-coco objects can glisten eternally with the help of few drops of oil...one understands that owning an Eco-coco product can change a world!
(From the Quite important Little Coconut Story). Drop in and see the vast selection today!
